IP Refresh is a DHCP client diagnostic tool for Windows NT 4.0, 2000 and XP.
It is an enhanced version of ipconfig and winipcfg. In addition to the IP configuration and operating system information, IP Refresh allows non administrators to run the equivalent of ipconfig release and renew which is normally reserved for administrators only.
IP Refresh removes the need for end users having to run ipconfig or troubleshoot their systems for connectivity problems. IP Refresh warns you when any static IP addresses override DHCP settings or when any suspect configuration is detected. It will also warn of IPIPA assigned addresses and cable disconnection.
IP Refresh 1.5.5 was released by Stanhope Murray Ltd on Monday 13 January 2003. Its known requirements are : Windows NT 4.0 SP3 and Windows Installer Service.
IP Refresh will run on Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows XP.
